Colorado's Retail Food Safety regulations do not permit non-service animals in restaurants and grocery stores. Only service animals are allowed.
As far as I understand pets can be tied up out side the metal fence that borders the patio and you can sit at a table next to them but they have to be outside that boundary and cannot be inside the restaurant itself.
I asked and they said that they do not accept checks, local or otherwise. Cash & plastic only.
GREAT place for breakfast. Sit outside and enjoy the cutest little town of Fruita.Good food. Good prices. Friendly service.
Huge fan of this local cafe! Everything you would ever want from a locally owned and operated hometown cafe. The waitresses were friendly and liked to chat, the food was good and not too greasy! Highly recommend for anyone passing through.
Generous portioned breakfast, everyone at the table was very happy with selection and flavors. Great wait staff as well!
It's pretty from the outside, but it's dirty on the inside. The bathroom is really disgusting. They also have a food prepping area that is right outside the bathroom door. I got the Albuquerque sandwich which was good, but nothing special I couldn't have made myself at home. The fries were good. It took about 45 minutes for me and my husband who ordered the Navajo taco to get our food, and it was not busy at all. I don't understand why this restaurant is rated so highly. The other places in town must be super super bad. The food was ok, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't really good either.
Great little breakfast place. Love it
Good food but unfortunately the service was poor. Unfriendly staff with little patience. Another sore spot is their solution to the pandemic. Huge waste of styrofoam containers for dine-in customers. I am not likely to return.
The waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive. The place was super clean and the patio was gorgeous looking out on to the main street. The signature dish is the Navajo taco and it was absolutely delicious!
I always love eating here!! The biscuits and gravy are fabulous. Camilla and her staff are friendly and caring. I have a vacation rental and my guest also compliment Camilla's Cafe on their good food and service. #1 in my book!!
Such an amazing coffee bar in an unlikely location. What an incredible find and well worth the drive when you factor in the local scenery
I have a customer up this way. We like to come to Camilla's for breakfast and do our business while we eat here. Lucky us, right? Good place, they let us linger as long as we like. Good food.
Not only was my breakfast absolutely fantastic but the restaurant is doing an amazing job during the covid pandemic. I was sad that I forgot to order a cinnamon roll and before I knew it, Camilla came outside with a cinnamon roll to go for me. I can't wait to return!!
I enjoy coming here with My Family. There isn't many options for people who avoid Dairy. But otherwise this is a wonderful restaurant with a warm environment
Fast service and good food. Not many vegetarian options, I got an omelet. They have a good hot sauce selection on the table and lots of coffee drinks.
Wonderful experience! Great coffee, filling and delicious breakfast burrito, pleasant service, and welcoming atmosphere. Would gladly return!
Delicious food and drinks. Wonderful staff, cozy environment. A great local place to eat.
While living in Fruita, Camilla's was one of my favorites to call and order while I was working. The food is amazing and they always had my food ready for pick up before/at time that it was promised!
Breakfast is fantastic... fun eclectic place to sit and have coffee (even specialty coffees !) Good food, good people
Best breakfast burritos! Love this place! Go early, because when you have a great place it’s always busy!
One of the very best breakfast places I've ever been in my travels. The coffee is the best coffee I've ever had hands down, the green chili on the breakfast skillets is going to have me craving it for years to come. Fantastic service everyone's so friendly and efficient. Super cute location in an adorable town. Our new go to whenever we're traveling through the area.
Camilla’s is a lovely Fruita staple. After moving here a few months back we really enjoyed breakfast here pre or post ride in the desert. Since the start of the Pandemic, we’ve enjoyed the cinnamon rolls and Mimosas delivered to our door, probably more than we should! The staff are always friendly and the food is great!
Great staff, nice breakfast and lunch menu. Best french dip I've had in a long time. Fun family restaurant!
Delicious food and they're taking all the right precautions by only allowing patio seating, plastic ware, new/used pen cups for signing, etc
Unfortunately our Chili Rellanos were over cooked this time and due to the Covid 19 changes they have to use plastic utensils, and they were the almost impossible to use on our meal to cut and eat with
1st time here. Cute mimosa set up & the huevios con rellenos breakfast was amazing. My server was friendly and on point. Definitely going back with friends.
Outstanding service, high quality ingredients and it was clear that little things like homemade biscuits are a priority. My wife and I were camping near by and needed an experience were we felt taken care of... This was it!!! So glad we found this place, and will come back when we come through!
A lot of places offer good food. Camilla's offers not only good food but a great local environment. The waitstaff is top notch
Great local eatery with a good selection of breakfast and lunch items from traditional to Tex-Mex. Delicious special coffees and consistent service round out the benefits of this restaurant.
A lady was rude and they don't have Tabasco what restaurant does not have Tabasco
Fantastic drinks and food! A favorite stop when we are on the Western Slope. 👌
Delicious home made food. The Navajo Tacos are AWESOME! The service was GREAT! Thank you.
Excellent food and service.i had the Ruben with Cole slaw and my husband had the Fish & Chips. The portions were large and the staff friendly. Outside seating only because of Covid-19, but that was fine. We enjoyed sitting in their covered outside patio.
This a great place for breakfast and lunch. The staff was very friendly and the service was great! The food was very good and was made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is fun and the place had plenty of seating. The prices were fair, about $10 per person at breakfast and lunch. They service diner type cuisine with a southwestern twist. I would highly recommend this place.
Love the food we go there quite often. I ordered a side order of toast and got one piece of bread? Who does that. Every other restaurant that I've ever gone to ever gives you two pieces of bread for an order of toast. Come on guys you charge more than most restaurants give up the toast!!
Staff was great. We had a rude mouthy 70+ year old table next to us, we got up and moved and the staff helped us without them even noticing. The burger was great and the jalapeno&cheese grilled in the bun was awesome!!
Had the "bowl" special. Chicken fried steak was NOT oily. Crisp and good chicken flavor. Staff is always delightful even when you know they are harried. Please stop using styrofoam.
Better than my mother's cooking, just don't tell her
This is the best place in Fruita for breakfast and lunch. Camilla is awesome and so nice, and the food always impresses me. They pay attention to the small details here.
Excellent service and food. Highly recommend them
This place has the best coffee and their vegan sandwich + fries are amazing! Love the staff and vibe here.
Delicious food, reasonable prices, and very enjoyable outdoor seating overlooking Aspen Street. I had the chicken avocado salad and it was fantastic, yum!
This is the absolute go-to joint for grub in Fruita, CO. The breakfast offerings are excellent and frequently violate the prohibition against eating anything bigger than your head. The wait staff is always friendly, personable, & attentive. The burgers and hot sandwiches are all excellent. Whatever it is, order it slathered with green chili and it'll be better. Biscuits are ginormous. A favorite with the locals so take a real clue from that.
Early morning breakfast to mid-day lunch no dinner but you can have brunch. This is a wonderful place to eat. Hearty burgers and great greens. Good food with a clean home town feel. They close at 3 on weekends and 4 weekdays.
Service can be slow, the menu is limited. They are only open breakfast and lunch. That said this is Dr.Huskys old office. It's a neat atmosphere with a vintage small town feel and the food is good. I love the biker burrito!
Great service and dog friendly(outside)!!! The only down side is food is served in to go boxes due to COVID-19.
I came to this place randomly on a Solo road trip about a year ago. The Cowboy Skillet was the best breakfast I've ever had in my life. It sticks with me to the fact I want to find an excuse to come this way again just to order it.
I like this place. I'm disappointed that while the service is less, customers are being charged a covid-19 sanitation fee.
Great vibe, nice fruita feel. Great food, coffee and service!
We love this place!! Awesome service and always great food!! It's a great place to stop in for breakfast or lunch, just wish they would carry local beer
Went to have a nice breakfast and we were a little early. The lady shut door in my face and didn’t even tell me the time they opened. No hours posted. Knocked on door and she waved me away! Dismissed me. 3 gentle walked up tried to open door and she waved them away too! No too friendly for Fruita! Very disappointed in the greeting!
Delicious. Friendly. Quick. Who could ask for anything more?
